CPAG PROJECT

The Rose

CPAG partnered with Transit Studio artists and teens from Oak Park-River Forest High School to design and fabricate two sculptures using an ancient building technique called cordwood construction. The sculptures utilized the invasive tree species Buckthorn as its main component. The Rose sculpture is located outside the Forest Preserve District of Cook County headquarters and was unveiled in November 2017.
