The Recovery Drawings – Opening Reception

Chicago Public Art Group is proud to present The Recovery Drawings, an exhibition by CPAG Artist Ginny Sykes.
Sykes’ 2020 series, The Recovery Drawings, are a reflection on her journey through pain, healing and recovery. Sykes works with symbol and myth to assert and affirm the complexity of identities women negotiate. Her layered and visceral aesthetic suggests the transformative and healing potential of art.
All artworks include image descriptions, available through QR code.
Masks are optional but encouraged. Chicago Public Art Group is wheelchair accessible with a movable ramp.
